New Twist on a Little Black Dress
New York City is famous for being the big apple, the city that never sleeps and Jay Z and Alicia Keys once deemed it the concrete jungle where dreams are made of..but to fashion connoisseurs and creatives from all walks of life it’s the home of the famous, New York Fashion Week! And it’s quickly approaching.
It’s Monday which means in four days I will be waking up at the crack of dawn to venture to the city and though I am giddy and beaming with excitement...my stress of what to pack for shows and events has skyrocketed. Is it acceptable to pack 7 pairs of shoes for just a few days?...asking for a friend.
Luckily, I was able to collaborate with Haute Rogue on some outfits for this special week. My first pick was this beautiful black dress with little heart details. Not to mention this dress has amazing twirling capabilities. The mesh sleeves, lace up front ribbon detail and high neckline all scream...TAKE ME TO FASHION WEEK!

Remember to stay true to your style but have fun! You want to showcase your personality and still try new things. I paired this dress with subtle pops of red. The cat-eye sunnies are currently on trend and the little ankle boots keep the look casual for strutting the streets. If you’re wanting to dress it up I suggest some gorgeous red pumps for a pop of color.
