When one of my best friends and I sat down, feeling defeated at a coffee shop back in early summer we didn’t expect to come together to find a solution for our lack of inspiration or joy within the blogging industry and community. We thought we’d just vent to one other...as girls do. This meeting was special because, instead of complaining we decided to come together and create our own blogging community! Right here in Boston! Yes, that simple. I looked at her with wide eyes like…”Hey, I have this idea” and the rest is history.
We decided we wanted a blogging community that was built on friendships, building each other up and empowering one another. So we got to work and did just that.
September 1st 2018 was our launch date! I remember I spent countless hours at a Starbucks with my fiancé as he worked on building our website (he’s amazing!). That morning we announced Bloggers Live Boston was open to taking members and the girl’s feedback was overwhelmingly positive in the best way! They’re the reason we wanted this platform and community of beautiful boss babes to thrive. The creative women who are a part of BLB are incredible, kind and always willing to help a fellow gal pal out.
Fast forward to a few meet-ups and events later and I am able to say Bloggers Live Boston teamed up with the iconic, Kate Spade New York in the Burlington Mall. I am forever grateful to the Kate Spade Burlington Team, Leanne for all her hard work promoting the event on social media, the four amazing photographers and of course our BLB members!
